Worship Wednesday: Confident & Covered

Do you live confidently, knowing that you are covered in God’s love? This is a way we show our true worship.

I believe that often we forget our full coverage. We forget that His love never runs out on us. It’s easy to remember when life is good. But when bad things happen, we lose sight of the unconditional, unstoppable, indescribable love that covers us. But God wants us to live trusting that He is in control and that He’s got it all taken care of.

If you haven’t listened to Passion’s latest CD (or ANY Passion CD for that matter), you need to. 🙂 White Flag has some incredible songs, including One Thing Remains by Kristian Stanfill. This song is a reminder that God’s love never fails, it never gives up, it never runs out on us. Listen to it and read the lyrics below. (If you are reading this in an email, you can listen to it here: One Thing Remains.

Your love never fails, It never gives up, It never runs out on me (x3)
Your love

Higher than the mountains that I face
Stronger than the power of the grave
Constant in the trial and the change
This one thing remains
This one thing remains

Your love never fails, It never gives up, It never runs out on me (x3)
Your love

And on and on and on and on it goes

It overwhelms and satisfies my soul

And I never, ever,
have to be afraid

This one thing remains

This one thing remains

Your love never fails, It never gives up, It never runs out on me (x3)
Your love

In death, in life,
I’m confident and covered

By the power of Your great love

My debt is paid

There’s nothing that can separate
my heart from Your great love

Your love never fails, It never gives up, It never runs out on me (x3)
Your love

And on and on and on and on it goes

It overwhelms and satisfies my soul

And I never, ever,
have to be afraid

This one thing remains

This one thing remains

Your love never fails, It never gives up, It never runs out on me (x3)
Your love
