31 Days :: Day 22 – Reflection

Today is our third reflection day. A chance to look back over the past week and see what God has taught us and is continuing to teach us. And again it’s pretty much the same assignment. 🙂

Today’s Assignment:

  1. First thing this morning, spend some time in prayer. Thank God for what He has done in your heart and mind this week… and ask Him to keep giving you the weapons to defeat the enemy’s grip on your thought life.
  2. Look back through the daily devotions and all of your journal notes for this week.
  3. Read through Philippians 4:8, 2 Corinthians 10:4-6, and Galatians 6:14 again. Hopefully, these verses now come to mind when you recognize an unwanted thought.
  4. Journal about where you see your thoughts now in comparison to day 1. Here are some questions to help as you do this:
    • What are the negative thought patterns that God has revealed to you so far?
    • Have you seen a dramatic improvement in any specific area?
    • What areas in your thought life still need some letting go on your part?
    • Where do you sense Satan attacking you in your thoughts? What one particular thing do you struggle with the most?
    • Do you find that you have a more uplifted spirit as a result of doing the study for the past 3 weeks?
    • Have you given it everything you’ve got? If not, are you willing to commit right now to give it all to Him for the rest of the month, for His glory?
Again, I would love to hear from you! It means so much to me when I receive one of your sweet emails. It truly touches my heart to see how God is working in so many of you. If you haven’t dropped me a line, I would SO love to hear from you this week!! And don’t forget the opportunity for discussion on the forum or in the comments section of any post. See you tomorrow… as we learn battle verse #4! Prepare for battle. Next week is going to be a little different… and maybe a little tougher than the previous weeks.

Have a wonderful Saturday!
