I had a plan for what I was going to write about today… but it was my plan. It will come another day, but for today I surrender. This song has been kind of haunting me ever since we sang it this morning. Very, very simple lyrics, yet so profound.
In the past week, I’ve been powering through in my own strength. Not taking time for God. Not asking Him to help me through and to show me His ways. No trusting that He has the big picture already figured out. So here, on Monday, another chance to start over, I surrender. And my challenge is for you to do the same. Surrender this week to God. Let Him have control and see how different your week is.
So listen to the song below, and keep this in the forefront of your mind:
