Today… an awesome song by For King & Country reminding us that how we live our lives is the best example to the world of worship… and of Jesus’ love. Listen to the song through this youtube video and read the lyrics below it. No additional words necessary on this one. I waste my breath with every song
I bring an empty voice, a hollow noise
If I speak with a silver tongue
Convince a crowd but don’t have love
I leave a bitter taste with every word I saySo let my life be the proof
The proof of Your love
Let my love look like You and what You’re made of
How You lived, how You died
Love is sacrifice
So let my life be the proof
The proof of Your love
If I give
To a needy soul but don’t have love then who is poor?
It seems all the poverty is found in me
So let my life be the proof
The proof of Your love
Let my love look like You and what You’re made of
How You lived, how You died
Love is sacrifice
Oh, let my life be the proof
The proof of Your love
When it’s all said and done
When we sing our final song
Only love remains
Only love remains
Let my life be the proof
The proof of Your love
Let my love look like You and what You’re made of
How You lived, how You died
Love is sacrifice
So let my life be the proof
The proof of Your love

I love this song, Paula! My favorite line is “Let my love look like You and what You’re made of”. If we lived like that everyday, that would truly be a life of worship!
Blessings,
~Erin
Me too, Erin! The lyrics are incredible… worship is so much more than the songs we sing!
I enjoyed this so much. I am a great grandmother BUT I enjoy so much the contemporary music as I like holding my hands up in praise to Jesus. Was at an Angela Thomas conference here in my home town and had some friends along who just sat there like a rock and I know they thought I had lost my mind. I will say that Charles Billingsley was the Worship leader so that says something. Really wish I was in a church that was more worshipfull… I feel conspicuous if I lift my hands. I had fun but I don’t think my friends were having as much fun as I was.
I was there too, Pat! LOVED the worship!!! Charles Billingsley was absolutely created to be a worship leader… As Angela described him, he definitely led us to the throne. 🙂 Thanks so much for stopping by!
